Charlie is a seasoned transportation executive in the rail industry’s mechanical engineering sector. He excels in operations management, freight, pricing, locomotive procurement & logistics, and warehouse operations. Charlie’s expertise encompasses the strategy, procurement, safety, and installation of locomotives, both new and repowered. He advises on fleet cost-effectiveness and aligns locomotives with railroad infrastructure.
Charlie has overseen project management for new shop construction, equipment, training, and refurbishment of existing facilities. At RailAmerica, he managed a 440-locomotive fleet across 45 railroads, with a $20M maintenance and lease budget.
