Matt is an accomplished real estate professional with over 20 years of expertise in transactions, brokerage, and development across industrial properties for major railroads, land acquisitions for corridor development by utilities and short lines, and commercial retail deals. He has successfully negotiated, executed, and closed over 600 transactions through keen market knowledge, business acumen, and a relationship-driven approach.
At CSX for over thirteen years, Matt managed all property acquisitions, leasing activities, and portfolio management. He guided multi-million dollar rail infrastructure projects from site qualification and budgeting to project delivery. His railroad real estate proficiency spans property sales/leasing, right-of-way expansions, utility crossings/longitudinals, siding extensions, terminal expansions, and more. Matt’s real estate capabilities enable him to deliver optimal deals within the industrial and transportation sectors.
